Fortunately, there is a wide variety of ringtones available for Android phones.

Even better, you can create your own ringtones.

How? Read on.

1. Launch the Settings application on your Android smartphone.

2. Secondly, select "Sounds and vibration."

3. Tap on "Ringtone."

4. A list of potential preset ringtones will appear on the following menu. Tap to test various ringtone selections on your device while the volume is turned up until you discover the one you like.

5. After choosing a new ringtone, tap it so that a blue circle appears to the left of your choice.

6. Tap on the "+" icon in the top-right corner of the screen and choose a choice from one of the lists provided to add a custom ringtone.

Immediately after you leave the Settings app, your new ringtone will be remembered.

It should be noted that you must download custom ringtones directly to your Android device if they are desired and are not included in the "+" menu.
